Six-Week Bible Reading Calendar for Kids!

Build a Bible-reading habit using this simple 42-day calendar which allows them to experience highlights from the Old and New Testaments for themselves!

“Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.” – Psalm 119:9

“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.” – Psalm 119:105

“Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.” – Psalm 119: 18

The Word of God, the Bible, is such an important asset to our Christian life — in fact, it is THE most important tool we have to grow as Christians. It is described as life-giving water, bread, and meat for our growth. It is the lamp through the darkness of life. It is our healer when we are wounded. It is our mirror. It is our cleanser. It is our instructor. It is our guidance for the future.

Wow – what an amazing Book! In fact, the only way we will be successful as Christians is by taking advantage of reading Scripture every single day.

And, as we raise our children, we should always be encouraging them to be daily in the Word of God, too. Our children will never have the right thoughts, attitude, or love toward themselves, others, or God without reading the Bible themselves and experiencing God speaking to them personally through His Word.

Make sure that you take the time to build a personal relationship with God. He WANTS that relationship with us, and we can build that by communicating with Him (through prayer) and by Him communicating back to us through His Word – the Bible! Think about it: He spent years upon years compiling His thoughts, actions, and words into one Holy Book which He has preserved specifically for us!

What a special gift we have that we, as parents, can share with our children on a daily basis!

Sometimes, though, if you’re like me, it is hard to remember to read the Bible every day, let alone remind our children to do the same!

Besides, how do you keep track? Where do you start? Which stories should they read? How much is too little? Too much?

My favorite way to keep track of my Bible-reading is through a Bible reading calendar! This way I have an idea of what to read each day, how much to read, and can visually see progress each week!

Now, I know that there are HUNDREDS of Bible-reading calendars and apps out there to use. However, I have found it a struggle to choose one I like or to find one for kids that not overwhelming, complicated, cheesy, or expensive.

So, I decided to build my own resource to help solve these problems and share it with you!!!

Take a look now at our brand-new Old and New Testament 6-week Bible Reading Calendar.
