There is nothing better in fall than cozying up on the couch and reading your favorite book! Fall is simply the perfect atmosphere for getting into reading and cultivating an interest in the Bible and daily meditating on the Scriptures!
For those of you who have older kiddos who like to read or a like-minded friend group, these upcoming rainy fall days are an awesome time to start building a Bible-reading habit!
My parents always modeled daily Bible reading as well as provided me and my siblings with the tools at a very young age to start reading the Bible on our own!
One tool you can use with your kiddos are my Bible Reading Calendars which you can download here. This is a great way to get started on a Bible reading plan for kids who can read the Bible on their own. With just a few chapters at a time, they can finish reading the major events of the Old Testament or New Testament in just 6 weeks!
Another great tool to use is our latest book-club style discussion questions which you can print out and either use in your book club, group Bible study, Sunday school, children’s ministry, mom’s day out, homeschool co-op, or just at home! Each thought-provoking question encourages reading comprehension, deep thought, and a little bit of imagination!
