Printable Summer Reading Resources!

There’s no better way to help your kids spend the summer than by reading! That way, what they’ve learned and gained interest in during the school year can continue to be reinforced and hopefully not totally forgotten by this fall!

Reading is personally one of my most beloved activities, both alone and with my little toddler — reading together grows bonds, builds knowledge, and relaxes the mind and body! So, let’s dive into this summer with some new printable reading tools to help you and your kids reach your reading goals!

First, here are some printable Reading Checklists to choose from! Throughout the summer, I’ll be adding more designs, so be sure to check back here often, or find more downloadable copies my designs HERE. As always, each one is available for completely free of cost! Just click on your favorite design, download, and print!

Next, we have a Reading Goals Sheet. Help your kiddos fill this out at the beginning of the summer, then help them find some books or ideas for new books on Amazon, your local library, or within your own home collection! Also, feel free to comment “LIST!” and the reading level you want for a list of some of my own personal favorites! 🙂

To start using this Reading Goals Sheet yourself, just click on the picture, download, and print!

Once again, more designs for this are coming soon, so be on the look out, and be sure to subscribe to our email list to be updated when new designs drop!

Lastly, as you and your kiddos start making progress in your reading, help your kids work on comprehension and start some fun family conversations with this Questions to Consider page! There are 25 wonderful questions here for you to ask your littlest to your oldest child to help them think critically and creatively about what they just read! I have found that talking about books and asking questions like these are some of the greatest tools to cultivate a love for reading in a family! Plus, it’s a great way to get to know your kids and hear what they think about!

Below, you can just click and print this FREE list of 25 Reading Questions!

If you plan on reading this summer, just click and download any of these designs, and use them on your tablet, computer, phone, or print them for FREE!

If you would like to make reading through the Bible with your kids a goal for the summer, I have some great resources for that too!
